In a heartfelt and pleading manner, Allen confessed, "I'd do anything to earn your forgiveness," fully aware that his past transgression, an unforgivable act, made it impossible. He desperately clung to the hope of a second chance. Anna, her eyes ablaze with anger, sternly confronted Allen, "Do you really believe forgiveness comes so easily? No, it doesn't. I could never pardon someone who caused me such pain, to the point of losing my baby. Never, ever," she exclaimed, her voice echoing with her raw emotions and desire for justice for the hardships she had endured. What drove this intense hatred between them? What dark events unfolded in their past? To unravel this tangled web of emotions, we must delve deeper into their story.

    Part 4:

The way the author portrays the marriages that connect the bigshots of each clan together is honestly some of the most novel and intriguing portrayals I've read in a while. The plot also starts thickening (past the 300s anyway) and the world building becomes more fleshed out. Basically what I'm trying to say is that the only reason this book is getting trash reviews is because of the first 300 chapters or so. In fact, if you were to take the latter 600 chapters (as of writing this review, there's 937 chapters) as a stand-alone LN, then you will get yourself an average cultivation book with interesting prospects that could easily bag a rating of 4/5.

But alas, due to it having had an absolutely horrendous start, plus the fact that the grammar is sort of subpar especially with the author often mixing up his pronouns, this book will have to settle for a rating of 3.5/5 or 7/10 at most.
