Aria Mendez, an 18-year-old freshman at Appleland University, had a difficult past. After losing her parents at 12, she spent time in an orphanage before receiving a scholarship to attend school. Her life took an unexpected turn when she encountered Ocean Muse, a 23-year-old vampire with an insatiable thirst for blood. Unlike others, Aria's blood held a unique allure for him. One fateful night, as Aria stood frozen in the shadows, she witnessed the vampire feed on an old man, whose lifeless body lay on the ground. The darkness made it hard for her to discern the face of the stranger before her, but she could see the smirk on his lips stained with the man's blood. "Curiosity seems to run deep in you, little one," he taunted, his voice echoing in the night. Despite her fear, her legs betrayed her, attempting to flee. However, he was too quick, stopping her in her tracks. He grabbed her hair, pulling her back so that her back was pressed against his chest. She squirmed, terror-stricken, as he whispered, "If you must know, let me demonstrate." And then, she felt his icy teeth graze her neck, her heart pounding in her chest.
