Darren Jordan has always been a superhero dreamer. But when superpowered Abilities become possible with the Foundation System, the world is turned upside down. Creatures who belong in fantasy stories appear and crush a major city, and that's only the start. His new Abilities are powerful, but that only matters if he can learn to control them, and try to protect the only world he knows.
