This is IET's latest work. It's closer to a wuxia story than a xianxia story like his previous works. Archean Eon Art tells a tale of human unity (so there won't be cliche arrogant young masters or family jealousy being the main plot points like other books). As a result, many of the side characters also grow with our main character in recurring appearances to push this narrative of a cohesive front. Side characters die due to the demon intrusions, and the sacrifices of these heroes leave an impact on our main character, Meng Chuan. Meng Chuan cultivates hard, but he has a guilty pleasure that he enjoys from a young ageβdrawing. It's a habit his deceased mother had imbued in him. Whenever Meng Chuan is impacted by the happenings around him, he takes in the feelings and processes them before drawing them out as artworks. And this serves to make him stronger. In this world invaded by demons, IET shows us what sacrifice and honor is. IET manages to make you feel for the dead even if they appeared just a paragraph or two ago. He invokes the feelings that we as humans will have when facing a common enemy. He immerses us in heart-pumping action that he has honed for more than a decade. It's definitely a solid, thoughtful, well-written story that you should read.
My biggest worry is the MC just being a system slave. Also not very original P.S: FirstFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFillerFiller
Well first this novel has a very stable update and is filled with long chapters so if you are looking for a story that won't be dropped then you came to the right place also if you are looking for a mc that actually uses his brain then this is the story also if you are looking for relationships that actually develop and mean something then this is the place to go and finally op mc
An odd translation. A better translation for title would be βEvil God Gonfalonβ. No idea why they went with Cthulhu. The translation quality is possibly the worst Iβve seen on QI. The recent chapters are much easier on the eyes and brain....a pretty fun series that is marred by terrible quality and questionable translation choices.
Nah I didn't like it It's kind of strange the stupidity of the protagonist even though he proclaims himself to be smart and he said he was a gamer but he doesn't act like someone who has a brain not to mention that the writing is kind of confusing since you can't understand when it's a thought and when it's a speech and also the protagonist talks while fighting so you lose a sense of time just like when you're having movement in fights it's hard to understand what they're doing as you mention some things that happened in the fight after the action was done
