Sometimes, life's profound impact comes from an unexpected encounter, like falling in love at first sight and losing it all in a blink. This was Karolia's reality at just 19 years old. Her once-bursting happiness crumbled into sorrow and isolation. Haunted by the inexplicable pain of her parents' departure, she chose to flee her hometown, Worcester, seeking solace in the bustling anonymity of New York City, hoping to outrun her nightmares and painful memories. Karolia was a delicate blend of sweetness, childlike innocence, unwavering strength, and everything that made her a truly special young woman. On the other hand, love had proven to be a perilous distraction for Logan, a man who carried the weight of being a powerful company's CEO on his shoulders. His coping mechanism was through the harsh realities of his work, making him appear dangerous, devilishly handsome, and every bit the embodiment of a captivating rogue. Their paths crossed, igniting a tempestuous storm of emotions – hatred, love, joy, fear, heartache, and even a thirst for revenge. Together, they transformed each other, revealing their vulnerabilities and deepening their connection. To Logan, love was no longer a distraction but a profound, transformative force. Yet, every tale has its nemesis, and in Karolia's case, her past loomed large, leaving her with no escape. The question lingered: would Logan be the hero to rescue her from her haunting past, or would he let her go, allowing her to face it alone? Prepare yourself for a thrilling journey filled with new adventures, unsolved mysteries, and unforgettable memories. After all, sometimes, what initially seems like a distraction can either heal or shatter, depending on how we choose to perceive it.

btw the story was amazing it really pique my interest, furthermore i hate the fact that lucius only love pol like how about me hahhahahah truly im showered with envy. it is impressive that the story portrays that a woman can do things what a man does, a powerful yet daring that is why never underestimate a woman.

I'm stopping at chapter 393. On top of the reason I mentioned below, the book isn't really worth reading- Even though they're called Lord's, there's no single time the MC has actually managed his territory. All he does is recruit more succubi and tell them to hunt to level up. That's it.- Around the chapter I stopped, MC went and defeated some Lord's, then went somewhere else to hunt for treasure and just when he got back to his territory, someone's already asking for his help and he rushes out again. It happens again and again and again. MC is either attacking other Lord's, being attacked or searching a treasure spot. Nothing else.  He just got married to 2 elves mind you, and he didn't even spend 1 day with them before he rushed out again like it's his job to save every fcking person. - Apparently MC was only mentioned to have transmigrated once in chapter 1, after that nothing else. We see his sister and no mention of parents. He belongs to dragon country(fcking ingenious name😒) but no city name. He had a friend in chapter 1 that's not seen again. All the above just shows how 1-dimensional this book is.- He doesn't keep any secrets. Like literally. So if he gets information on how to become stronger, he shares it to his alliance of a group of people he met only like 2 months?? Maybe it's just cus I like cautious and smart thinking MCs that this aspect really bothered me.- The last and most annoying one; he wants to get strong and powerful, but still hides behind his succubi army like a fcking coward during every (EVERY) fcking fight! This book is a joke and will only waste your time. Do not read it and spare yourself the agony of reading this. I really regret reading this book.
