Let me make an analogy: If two guys are trying to convince a women to date them, and one of them is her childhood friend while the other met her an hour ago, if she picks the one who was her childhood friend it doesn't mean the other guy is unattractive. Similarly, the final chapter doesn't mean Fang Lin is a better schemer, just that he had more time to plan things out. The author apparently doesn't know how scheming works.
I don't know if i skipped some sentences but fellow readers, can you tell me why the mc is not befriending the "protagonists?"
I mean, yeah, making friends with the protagonists is a bit trouble since they're literally a trouble magnets but having a positive relationship with them is very advantageous.
So I just started this book and it's nice. I like how you give each character their POV I think it makes the readers connect with them more. Nice job love your works are lovely ❤️
