Millie is currently navigating a bittersweet transition. After her father's tragic passing due to his addiction, she decided to stay temporarily in an apartment close to him until his memorial. While her heart aches from the loss, she sees this as an opportunity for a fresh start. She's ready to leave her old life in San Diego behind and embark on a new journey in Los Angeles, hoping to build a career and find a new place to call home. However, there's a brief gap of 37 days between her old lease ending and her new one, so her dear friend Steph kindly offers her a place to stay. At first, everything seems perfect. But little does Millie know, Steph's luxurious mansion, which was once a hotel, is now owned by a questionable group suspected to be involved in drug trafficking.
