"Bound by Moonlight"

How was something like this chosen before Only I am a Necromancer? It doesn’t make sense. It’s been like a month now and the necromancer one is getting close to reaching 700paid readers, and yet they still choose all of these other novels with only like 200 or so readers

MC spent 3 years of his life as an unsuccessful blacksmith. He had done nothing notable aside from that.Basically, he had been living like a non-entity in those 3 years. There was a girl that was in love with him for no reason, other than her having spent some time with him.Things only came ‘alive’ after he awakened his cheat; suddenly the girl decided to be intimate with him, suddenly some mook started finding trouble with him, suddenly there were assassins targeting him.His personality is bland. It was mentioned that he transmigrated, but he did not have the maturity and unique mindset of a person from Earth. His transmigration is probably just a set up for the existence of his cheat, nothing would really change in the plot even if he’s a native.As for the plot, most of the time he’s forging weapons, and when he’s not forging, he’s fighting, or some characters would bother him...no problem with that, but it would get boring later because the MC has no other feature that could make him attractive to readers, aside from his cheat perhaps.You can just treat this like a generic xianxia novel, be it the plot pattern or the MC's personality, just in a western setting.

Storyline was good. Got me hooked. There was no such errors. I liked the Mc development. It's not too slow and not too fast. Updating stability is also good.Good job author!

Please excuse my poor english,This is the second starbound fanfic i've ever read, and if you're tired of those wuxia, cultivator, and those narcissistic prick then i shall say this novel may be perfect for you. And don't worry if you not familiar with the lore or never play starbound before, the author kindly covered and explained it all (and chucklefish may gain another starbound player).So far, The story is following the canon, with a bit spice of lore and interstellar conflict. And i can't be amazed of how underrated this novel is, i mean it's not everyday you can read sci-fi fanfic in this website.But to be honest, starbound lore is full of hole, the overpowered personal warping and teleportation, the races background, device mechanism, and i hope the author explain the outpost in details, i mean a dimensional HUB is should be gigantic, sprawling cities, advanced ship in the port, armory of advanced tech, or maybe that's why they call it "outpost". I think The author should add his own lore, or fill it with crossover or better yet maybe mods, i'm sure it will give him the idea to progress the story other than the canon. Other than that it's all good, just need a bit of realism. And i love this novel, hope you the best.I don't mean to act bossy, and cocky. But if you found this review offending then please send me letter, i will apologize properly.
