I always re-read chapters and pick up other details more clearly.

The previous chapter led us to believe that Rihito was some playboy who used Suzuki. But then it turns out, he was just as much a victim as Suzuki in their past. I mentioned in my previous comment how prejudice against people for their past was a theme, but so is societal pressure. Suzuki and Rihito were perfectly happy as platonic friends, they were basically pressured into dating by the class and then it ruined their initial relationship. The one thing that I'm happy about it that both parties liked the other platonically, cos if Rihito used the crowd as a hype man to advance his own agenda, he'd be a piece of shit, which he isn't. I hope he finds proper happiness like Suzuki (or should I say Miyu) has.
