Playing "Daughter of the Duke's Super Love Project" as Ivonne, the easy mode heroine, makes winning over the male characters seem effortless. However, switching to hard mode and embodying Penelope, the misunderstood villain, turns survival into a nearly insurmountable challenge! Picture waking up suddenly in Penelope's body – you instantly realize your life hangs in the balance. With love interests who will end your life if their affection levels plummet too low and a speech system that confines you to pre-selected dialogue options, it becomes painfully clear that Penelope’s odds are unfairly stacked against her from the outset. This villain might indeed be doomed to meet her demise! (Source: Ize Press)

Definitely not a Josei.
fl is beautiful and smart at first.....but after some time she only cares about their favourability and acts solely on emotions......it's hard to watch where she was being betrayed by the one she trusted most.....
at the beginning the story was promising.....i loved her actions and the plot at beginning buuuut it's frustrating to watch
Arguably the best villainess manhwa out there, if anyone wants to start getting into the 'villainess genre' this is the go to manhwa. First manhwa that i've read that utilized the dialogues' choices option, the author really makes it hard to figure who the fmc will end up with until later in the story. The story is about a girl that lives in a male dominated household without a mother, her brothers and father ignore and doesn't respect the fmc. The fmc reincarnated into the villainess (an otome game that she played) and the villainess family situation is pretty much the same as the fmc. The way how the fmc handles and tackles her daily problems and situations are pretty good, the slave well... it can't be helped since the fmc had to use any options that are available for her to survive. Art is very gorgeous. characters are very well written, you might despise 1 or 2 of the love interests due to the way they act and speak to the fmc. Unlike some of the overpowered villainesses out there, the fmc doesn't have anything like that, relying only on her knowledge and wit to handle her problems.
TL;DR
Recommended even if you're not into the whole villainess trope, you can definitely enjoy other aspects of the manhwa. Art is beautiful and character are well written, also the fmc is quite the badass handling her situations and problems without breaking down.
I love how FL has a realistic reaction to her circumstances and could truly connect to her feelings.
A similar manhwa I love is - I thought it's a common possession where the FL felt real.
I would give this a 10 however, I feel like it is progressing a little slow and the romance isn't really romancing as much as I wanted it to. I love the story though and how the female lead is being a boss loll. I just wish there was more romance so that I can feel those little butterflies swirling. Other than that it is such a good read!!!! Also, unpopular opinion but I want her to be with the prince (if the author ends up giving us some romance LOLL jkjk you're doing great author!!)

Sooo friggin good. I hate waiting but it's so wonderful it's worth it
The art is breathtaking and so is the story (quite novel in my opinion). The characters you initially believe being positive are the worst, the protagonist, desperate to survive, does not realize that the rope she is grabbing is rotten, the tension building up and the ignorance of the MC (because of fear, not stupidity) is really relatable and help creating an intriguing and complex narrative.
