    1. Advanced technology does not make you a god, it's totally plausible they just didn't realize that things could be composed differently on that level, and couldn't go from that to edible food.
    2. They waited for earth for hundreds of millions of years, and it could have taken even longer to find another planet even on the level of earth let along matching theirs. 200 million does not seem that long in comparison.
    3. How does floating around as a blob of consciousness forever seem fine to you? It seems pretty miserable.
