    just a bit of a note. the author could have done more to continue this series but instead he/she decided to end it this way. to me it was abrupt, well, mostly because author at the end of vol 3 stated he'll decide on a continuation depending on the situation.... welp, it is what it is, but at the same time im happy, to read a proper ending to this all. i mean leaving it at Candidate Fiancée is just a little bit y'know... anyway all is well that ends well.

    So after catching up from beginning, I have a few theories. Elf maid received an order to kill MC but was not going to do it and is regretful for the incident. MC will maybe reunite with his mom in the future and she will be in a tortured state and MC will go for revenge. That or after he becomes this giga chad and his exploits are known to all, the shit lord will try to bring him back into the family to have a royal son who is great and all but will end up failing. Either way, I just want the king to fall

    Yeah the OP part is just unnecessary and removes any semblance of tension, if they made him a bit weaker they could have left some stakes without even having to rewrite a lot of the plot.
    I'm not even sure you can say the guy is reserved, I guess he doesn't initiate much but in this context he doesn't really have to.
    Anyway the artist is very good, I hope we see more of him in some other story.
