I love how the character build and the so many twist in it.. It's a complicated storyline and not easy to predict... It the most enjoyable in last 2 years in my read list and I mean big works here.
There is a lot that is fun and a lot of things that can be a bit dumb. I really like this story it is rather a fun one, if you look past some of the more idiot moments of the main character then it good time for you.
With time travel it takes a rather unique one where you have to gather information for this event that causes big bad things if not change. Not all information is there in the first place and sometimes there is more than what it is but if fucked up an event that was your one chance. It may feel like nothing changes in the future no matter what the main character does but they are changes that will matter for more information on upcoming events.
Either way, if you can pass that the main character is weak and moron then good time with one, the character is fun, and arcs are these big moments that made the future the hellhole it is if not changed.
Just give a try.
Workers what a journey, I get that people dislike the whiny Mc, but if you were in his perspective, most people would just whine as much, not out loud but in their head, regardless I really liked this manga
I love it.
It had great potential and even as is it would still deserve more than a 5 if you cut out the MC's whining that composes 40% of this series.
After the first chapters and how resilet the MC proves to be over and over again, you'd expect he'd learn to fight after his n-th death, but no he's still a pushover and just gets more stupid as random teens that look like battle hardened veterans are introduced to the story.
Even if it turning the last 3 volumes into a yaoi manga and having Mickey and the MC marry would be a more dignified ending. Nothing relevant has happened for ages, after the first ark it was already pretty reasonable that he wasn't the only timetraveler saying it explicitly doesn't change the plot at all.
I only watched the anime and I don't really like the protagonist. He wanted to be strong but doesn't even train himself. He's a pathetic loser but I still kept watching because of Mikey and the other characters. Throughout the anime, I only imagined that Mikey is the protagonist and not Takemichi.
It was really good at the beginning, slowly it turned itself out generic.
