Time to Call Off This Engagement

I really like how they made this version of the "OP support put down by the hero" as a story of abuse that feels a lot like the accounts of it I've heard in real life where people do begin to see themselves as worthless because of how they have been insulted as been less than human, worthless, and need their abuser or they will fail. The hero turned villain is an equally good reflection of how someone can become both a villain and an abuser. he follows the "road to hell is paved with good intentions" then have this reflect how abusers are warped with a moment of change being the demons possession, even though this does undercut any progress she may make with the "it was a demon the whole time" excuse instead of her growing and repenting as a person. This does seem to be the only method that fits the story well as to how she had such a dramatic shift in personality but serves as a good stand in for the "misguiding factor" that caused this mess.
