The leader of the commoners seems interesting, but his sudden puppy love for the heroine is detracting from him a bit. I get that they're kids and crushes happen, but he's leading the "weaker" faction and a powerful potential ally just showed up. Plus, you'd think his distaste of nobles based on his history would be a lot harder to work out than just having some random noble say class doesn't matter. If anything she came across as conceited, dismissing his lived experience because she has her own little crush. I just have a hard time believing someone like him would be behaving this way, based on how he was presented.

And also a lancer having to use both hands to wield the weapon, it's a great disadvantage to them if one of their hands is not usable, they may be able to use it using a single hand but there is a massive difference on the skill they can show when using both.

Sven has been trying to sabotage Kazuhiho via underhanded tactics. Breaking into Kazuhiho's room, stalking him to Wrida's lair, the works. It finally came where Sven decided to just ambush and beat Kazuhiho. Thus, this is where we are now.

I know it's for the plot, but does everyone not just in this manga really have to be assholes to be evil? This manga and the other I'm referencing are good, but asshole = evil is kinda getting boring
