This is really amazing. Part of it is the characters, and just how flat out COOL the powers are, but this is still a predominately medieval type setting. So far the only real supernatural/magic type thing are swordmasters, and it's a really cool take.
As for why I titled my review like that, is because it's a pretty dark and grim world (pros****ution is, while not shown, very evident in the setting, among other things), this story just OOZES hope and faith. The major religion isn't corrupt (shocking wtf lol), chivalry and honor are major themes, the MC is utterly driven, utterly ruthless, and yet naive and always bettering himself constnatly.
As for the main selling point, I can only say that the philosophy and drive, the 'romantic' part of this story, is just so damn good, and it's all interwoven with ridiculously pretty art and epic AF battles that are just spine tingling. The MC's goal, his World, is so damn good. If you're at all into fantasy, give this a shot.
I read the novel till the end the writing is so beautiful its poetic it gives me the medieval era, theres some arcs that gave me goosebumps. I really love the MC's character development its like I watched him grow up. The supporting character is not one dimensional as well as the villain here they're OP and has great character I love it more. I can't wait for the manhwa to catch up with it. This has been my top list & I'm rereading the novel again rn as following the manhwa. I really enjoyed it.
This is my biased opinion tho just like people's preferences are different... So take it lightly
Will you keep potential threat live after you become his enemy? Yes? this is for you. No? just drop this
