I know a lot of people in the comments are saying that this was too abrupt of an ending or too much of a weird twist, but let's be honest for a second and say that this is completely on brand for the series so far? It's a pretty cool idea to call what was a trip for us to understand a trip for them to experience as a family, given their conditions. I agree that whatever the fuck the pacing was wasn't great but overall I do like it stopping here instead of anywhere else.

Uravis should, aside from what I said above, be looking to recruit more masters. That's obvious sure. But a nation can't rest it's entire military on the expertise of one man. Especially so if that man is the king.

Can you imagine the president picking up a rifle and heading out to a battle oversea's somewhere just because he happened to be the best marksmen in the country? That would be ridiculous. It's one thing if the country is against the wall. This battle is a good example. However, that position is untenable in the long term.
