The MC talks big but ultimately never satisfyingly resolves anything & the authors either

    1. Get random and nonsensical things to conveniently eliminate bad guys instead of the MC taking action directly himself.
    2. Give little or no punishment to the atrocious villains(Like idiot MC in manhua).
    3. Have the bad guys randomly and suddenly disappear from the story without explanation.

Another increasingly apparent issue is that the authors have their MC is toying with not worthy enemies, resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent lives. Nuclear-level explosions go off and large swathes of cities are wiped away, just so the MC can smile and say a clichéd, "Is that all you've got?". Unfortunately, it makes no sense within the plot's context, appears as a lazy means to drag out chapters, and is another example of the authors' poor writing. It also makes the MC, who we are supposed to sympathize with, additively appear just as disgusting as the villains he's contrasted against.

This MC pretty much becomes a God. He is him and is always fun to watch.

Season 1 was great, MC was roflstomping everyone who was in his way but when season 2 start he got a huge nerf and we got some overly dramatic backstory of the MC's BFF that was terribly cringe.

We also get to see villains who would sacrifice towns to monsters and even wanting to blow up hospitals but it all gets treated far to lightheartedly with the same 'comedy' as season 1. It's as if everyone on the writing staff got replaced except for the comedy guy.

I really liked how it started out and I did like the first season but I will agree with someone else on here that the second season is kind of blah. Not unbearable but it's getting a bit convoluted

I don't know what criteria others use in order to do their reviews but when something has a rating from 1-10, it usually has 4 or 5 categories to help break down a review. For example, story/writing, characters, art, flow and enjoyment all wrapped up with how the reader feels overall. So if you break it down, each category gets a maximum score of 2 per category for a total of 10 although I like to upscale and make each category worth from 1-10 and then just average it out. I'll give another example, for each category in order the rating would be 8, 6, 8, 7, 9 added together makes 38/50÷5=7.6. Then it's up to the reviewer whether they round it up or down. So it always irks me when people just thoughtlessly give a score of 1, 2 or 3. With a score of 2 it would mean that 3 of 5 categories received a score of 0, and that's completely unacceptable in my opinion. It then also pretty much invalidates anything in the review. Anyways I could be the only person that gives a damn but oh well, I still had to get it off my chest.

To be honest, I'm surprised that the comments below are so negative.
This series does have a lot of fighting and puts in a lot of humor, but from my perspective, it's nicely jumping between seriousness and comedy. I don't pay much attention to the 'plot holes' people described (that he is supposed to be so strong but is losing). For me, the 'losing' is just for comedy, he plays around with his enemies and just isn't really serious overall as a character but then wins easily at the end. I'm honestly wondering if we're reading the same thing, since other people seem not to catch that.
The humor is actually the best part of the manhwa and I like it a lot. MC just isn't the smartest one in the poodle and moves on instincts, so it may give the idea that he is 'going nowhere' and 'has no conviction' but the story is far from over and it's actually moving pretty fast between the zodiacs. The premise is also really clear - he's a good guy with a lot of strength and a jokester, who is looking for the person who betrayed him. MC's chaotic character is what makes the manhwa jump from one place to another, and I like it a lot. In my opinion, the author really works well with the goofiness of the MC and is doing a good job balancing the story.

If you're not expecting a perfect tactician, malicious revenge plot and serious battles, I think it's worth giving it a try.

I usually like OP mc's etc for a change after being used to so many shounen's where the mc grows with time.
But in this story the author just screws up the writing with the power system and makes mc too OP from the get-go. Sure, still decent, but it after a decent amount of chapters and fights, the fights just get annoying to read through especially since some images/scenes are just elongated like walls being overly long, gaps inbetween images elongated with speech bubble cry "aaaaaaaaaaah", making it slower and annoying to read, additionally I feel like each fight has a few more flavour fight scene images like jabs, etc. whichh is kinda nice making the fight more imaginative, but the problem is doesn't add anything of substance, it just drags the fight out longer and makes reading it more annoying, because as the reader one knows the mc's power level, the opponents power level and has been reading/seeing these fights with the same crushing power differential (mc keeps getting/recovers new abilities and items thus the differntial to opponents stays the same) over and over for dozens of chapters.

So to me it was merely decent, but I can recommend giving this story a try to those who really like mega-crushing OP mc's from the get-go and if you don't get annoyed by the way the fights are written/shown you'll probably be able to overlook a certain asspull-cheat-nonsense skill/attack in c57 which wasn't even a major event, but just messed with the "common sense" of the story by disregarding power levels and what ability is able to affect someone else.

So overall read until chapter 57, had this rated as decent/average 5/10 prior to this chapter, now it's 3/10 and dropped. The art is good btw.
