Cane Lele was born into the fashion industry. Her mother, Ye Fei Yi, was Taiwan's top model, and her father was also a model. A tragic airplane crash left Lele without parents, fostering a deep-seated disdain for the industry she viewed as superficial and unnecessary. Raised by her maternal grandmother, Lele's life took a turn when her aunt, Ye Fei Hong—a fashion model agent and former model—convinced the reluctant seventeen-year-old to try modeling.
Initially adverse to the idea, Lele's perspective shifted after seeing a photo shoot of popular American model Angus Lanson. She began to see modeling as an art form. When Aunt Fei Hong's magazine editor invited Angus Lanson to a meeting with top fashion ambassadors, Lele was included in the invite and became very curious about him. Unbeknownst to her, Angus' twin elder brother, Eros Lanson, secretly accompanied his brother.
This setup led to confusion and marked the beginning of a charming story centered around Lele's aspirations: pursuing fashion in NYC, aiming to become a top model, and perhaps finding love along the way.
