Good example of mc being smart (by knowing the events of the novel) and making a name for himself while being generally weak. At first he holds up ok, but towards the end of second season (ending ch 99), it seems like the author started making any perceived acts of strength in his part complete misunderstandings, as in people thinking he did things that he isn't actually strong enough to do and that someone else actually did. Which is fine I guess, because it's barely focused on at all, but if it starts to become a more common occurrence later, MC is going crash and burn eventually.
Also, there's a slight love triangle thing that develops between me and two girls (maybe three, but not yet), but it's definitely not romance, as neither girl is able/ wants to go out with him (although both show some romantic interest), they just think he likes them (due to various misunderstandings). MC, on the other hand, feels nothing for either, so another setup for a future crash and burn (x2).
Cukup bagus tapi tlng dekatkan MC & heroinya / harem skalian tlng cepat pertemukan avengel & Rachel kalau boleh jujur sih terkadang membosankan
Theres no build up at all, things just happen and end
As of chapter 66, so far there hasnt been much impact of what the MC expects will happen VS what actually happens. He kinda just breezes through most hurdles, mainly due to gun, magic, or knowing people's backgrounds already.
Flow of the story is pretty much MC following the plot, sometimes going off on his own to do something since he wants to get an item, get a power, or guide event towards a direction.
There's a lack of overarching plot, MC's motivations are unclear. He tries to hide his involvement but everyone and their moms notices. Core/secondary characters are one-dimensional as with most action adventure manwha.
With that all said, I still keep reading since I want to know which girl is hungrier for MC's **** in the end, I guess.
Better than I had expected
MC is a weird guy, he's aloof to a weird extent, he's almost not emotionally involved with anything going on except his own hurdles, maybe it's based on him not being able to see this world as real since it's his creation. Also, he uses his knowledge of the world ALL the time, literally, which should be the norm in this kind of story but it normally isn't, most of the time it's used at the start and every once in a while as a plot tool. Last, he's pretty fallible, quite often, he acts on his knowledge without thinking things through which has interesting ramifications beyond the "Ooops" moment.
Storywise, it's a very tried setting, sure, it's more used in shoujo stories, but there are still quite a few seinen stories too. So far (21chs) it's well presented and the plots are well presented and interesting, is undoubtly too soon to say anything here, but so far, leaving aside the expected lack of originality it's good.
Secondary chars have had little "screen-time" so there ain't much to tell, but they have been engaging at least and not too stereotypical.
Art is great, pace is good and dialogues are rather simple.
Overall, an enjoyable story so far, we'll have to wait to see were it goes from here and if it survives the 100ch hurdle. I wonder why the first version was dropped.
