My prediction is that her grandfather turns out to be nobunaga gone forward in time.

This story isn't necessarily a tragedy in tone and maybe im just speed-reading but it does feel like Doha's character arc is that she's trying to improve and be a better person(at least for tae-ung). She's still very self-centred and shallow, obviously, but. Just seems sad to use her as a punching bag especially when the worst blows come from Tae-ung who is her motivator for improvement.
