    Orenchi ni Kita Onna Kishi to Inakagurashi Surukotoninatta Ken has the protagonist be a normal competent bachelor, complete with competent cooking skills.  I don't remember how competent the female lead is, but she's a fish out of water and needs to learn local cooking from him.

    While Devil is a Part-Timer technically follows your claims, I won't yield it.  All the male leads are educational barbarians who've never had a chance to learn how to cook.  Hell, for much of their existence, they didn't even need to eat in any real way.  The greater story conspired to create the issues here, not stereotypes about cooking.

    Let's just ignore Food Wars because that's too inconvenient to your point.

    Plus there's a bunch of Isekais where the protagonist uses his cooking prowess to impress people, either as part of endearing his harem to himself or because its a food-junky manga.

    What do you mean the main character getting all the spotlight? Some of the side characters like Kikoru, Hoshina, and Narumi got some spotlight and character development when fighting the other Kaiju created by Kaiju no 9. Clearly you didn't pay attention what you were reading.
