You know manga like Juujika no Rokunin which are basically all torture porn? This is basically tragedy/desperation porn.
I don't really understand what would drive someone to write this.
[Spoiler] The MC was likeable or at least morally ambiguous at times but now he is literally driving a desperate old woman into millions of debt and the loss of her house and retirement on purpose.

Just... why? The scenarios are so cartoonish, most characters are hopeless lazy addicts.
Maybe this manga needed some contrast to balance all the terrible shit happening, that way it wouldn't feel exhausting and somewhat one-note.
I suppose the prostitution arc had at least some redeeming qualities and layered characters.

A very small amount of characters will end their arc not being driven to homelessness or the brink of suicide, but it feels like the minority.
