Coudlve been a decent manhwa but it throws away every chance it has to do something good with the premise of the story. MC is constantly cleaning his ear with his pinky finger in an "im so cool and nonchalant" kind of way, he does it like like 5 times per chapter, its so cringe lmao
The art is amazing. I really like how OP the protagonist is. I LOVE Mary Sue type characters and this MC would have been perfect.
But JFC, did he only save, freed and took in female slaves? Because all of his disciples are women as of ch. 56. 🙄😒
That wouldn't be so bad if they weren't also incredibly Loli looking. One creepily young looking girl is a martial artist so at least she has a decent, muscular body befitting someone who is a close quarter combatant. However, her squished, childlike face is really disturbing to see atop her well developed body.
Despite it being all women none of them are drawn with a lovingly detailed pussy shot or jiggling, bouncing titty and butt angles. Thankfully. Main reason this isn't a .5 for me, tbh. I'm shocked NONE of the women have gigantic boobs either. Wow. Their proportions (minus the legs) are somewhat realistic with the martial artist having an appropriately thick waist with her 6 pack.
MC also doesn't seem to have any romantic or sexual feelings for any of the women. Another point for him, yay.
Other than that we get a typical power up/leveling/progression story. Now there's going to be an invasion arc. I

Pacing is good. Art is standard manhwa shounen with all the flashy explosions and magic effects. There are far too many subplots at the moment, which muddles the main storyline quite a bit. As of now, the only explored characters are MC and the blue haired swordgirl (who I believe will lose importance in the story once the manhwa shifts subplots again). The author needs to streamline the main point of the story and focus on the MC's reaquistion of power.
