This started out so good omfg. Like it had everything I love in a manhwa. Smart & scheming female mc, revenge, regression, beautiful art, etc.
But im now over 60 chapters in, and the Mc is so weak. Its honestly getting irritating to read at this point. Its been mentioned over 900000 times about how weak she is, how damaged her body is, how she's so frail, but nothing in the plot happens to help her like, idk, RECOVER?? PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LETS MOVE ON

So the first season is great. Straight-up great.
We see the now mentally mature mc in her 6 year old body do her best to navigate things for herself and her father, but she was never educated as an adult. We see plot divergences (from the isekai novel) aplenty that make total sense and are interesting.
But the BEST parts were without a doubt the cuteness. The mc and her father are very lovey-dovey with each other and it's incredibly cute to read about and funny at times.
It shares similarities with I Shall Master This Family due to the family relations, as other said, but with NO political focus. Which is obviously a huuuge difference.
The second season is not as good, but I think that may be because of the translation I was reading, LuaScans (I used official before this). It was...kinda hard to follow. I used Luminous' translation for ch 52, that flowed better.
We're introducing what's probably the characters involved in later romance plot, and it's honestly boring. I'm mostly waiting for the non-romance stuff to come back, the murim/novel/father-daughter stuff.
My rating of 9 is based off of first season. I guess I'll give it a year and come back to read the rest of the second season. Looks like it'll take like another 4 years for this story to be finished anyway...maybe I should read the book.
edit: read a bunch of the book (picking up from where I was in the manhwa and continuing for about equal length). It's great. And has a bit more detail. Read this, in either form.
if it becomes basic shoujo trash, i'm boycotting
buuut it is a very fun manhwa
Lots of people have referred to this one as almost a Murim version of I'll Be The Matriarch In This Life. I agree, you definitely have a father-daughter duo who cherish each other, alongside an isekai-ed, time-rewinding protagonist who must deal with the politics and enemies not only in her own family/clan but their greater world.
Still, it's not a copy or anything! This one has its own appeal and I'm really liking it so far. Looking forward to more with the next season!
Chapters count at time of writing this: 44 [end of Season 1]
The female MC seems intelligent but not a mary sue at the moment. I like how she's practical and keeps her limitations in mind. I like the world building as well and the supporting characters seem well written too. Keen to see how the story progresses.
