I love the humor of this manga

Great series, glad to be caught up. It kinda fell off when Maomao got booted out of the inner court, it was pretty awkward how she got fired (why on earth would you fire a skilled poison tester that saved the life of a favored consort?), went back to the brothel for a single chapter and then just came back to work for Jinshi. Depriving her of the consorts and ladies-in-waiting to play off of and just having it be the Maomao and Jinshi show really wasn't working for me, but as soon as she returns to the inner court it picks right back up again. Really great overall. Good writing, good characters, good art. A current favorite, glad to see it get a proper adaptation.

And the cycle continues, but will Siwoon save his apprentice?

Reminds me of Re:Zero where as after the MC's death(kills himself to reset) this current timeline changed significantly but in the wrong reasons.
