At the age of forty-five, office worker Sasaki has reached his limit with the corporate routine. His sole comfort lies in smoking and the warm smile of supermarket cashier Yamada. After an especially difficult day, when Sasaki cannot find Yamada, a striking woman invites him to join her for a smoke. The disheartened man believes he's found a new smoking companion in the cool, teasing Tayama, but Sasaki doesn't realize that he already knows her!
