Absolute peak. I don't think I can genuinely say that for any other manga I've read. Its peak. Sui Ishida cooked here. It was amazing. It also has a satisfying ending. Its sad how much the anime failed to adapt it properly.

When people told me that the manga was better than the anime I honestly kinda dismissed them as "Oh its just people taking the source material as a golden standard regardless if its good." I cannot stress this enough, this is damn near amazing. Reading Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: Re was great from beginning to end.
