I do kinda like the perks, getting stronger purple based on knowledge is... largely in style and this is an interesting variable, also it's largely the same with the added benefit of being able to properly manipulate a market ie. Buying for 70, paying 65 then Selling for 100, getting 110 this allowing him to infinitely control supply and having to properly manage the demand, while not over saturating the market and thus making the value cheaper. Merchant wars are (imo)really interesting, but I could also why you'd rather see him act based on his memories
