i read it all in one go (chapter 17 is the latest) and i didn't expect to like it so much, but the premise got me and the reason for Fireren's current travel made me "aww ;--;"
There's something I guess calm or soothing about how she interacts with her surroundings, cant wait to read more tbh
Although there have only been 6 chapters out so far, I think this story has become one of my favorites. I usually don't like the slice of life genre but there's something so captivating yet relatable about this one. It's set in a fantasy world, yes, and the main character is an elf, yes, but the creators make it so realistic.
Seeing Frieren interact with her surroundings and reliving old memories of Himmel and the gang is charming yet melancholic. Everything is drawn so meticulously that you get sucked into this world with her as she is emerging in the face of humanity. Though she's older than most everyone, she still has that child-like curiosity and innocence.
Ugh, I could go on and on about how much I love this so far. I cannot wait for more! Please give this a read! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
