"Oh, I'm an alien and I dunno what this feeling in my chest is!" and of course "it's just a greeting" from a clear rival that always has to fucking exist, no matter what, because what is a love story without an insufferable third-wheel that everyone in the audience knows will fail, but still has to presist anyway and cause unnecessary amounts of misunderstandings on top of the already existing misunderstandings that come from the inhuman ways the characters deal with feelings and are also always protrayed as egotistical assholes who already think they own the love interest and act like they're better anyway, despite already FAILING...
