Once more, starts alright, nothing too special, but then it eventually devolves into the usual boring cliches. Meh.
I really like this story, the art is beautiful and it’s fun to see the novel come to life.
But if you haven’t read the novel, the story may not make much sense.
Unfortunately a lot of the content was condensed or even cut out when it was converted to a comic. The story lost a lot of it’s depth without the world building, character development and interpersonal relationships establishment that’s missing. This causes some of the plot points to seem abrupt or incomplete due to the removed content.
If your interested in the story’s concept, skip the comic and read the novel instead.
I agree with all the reviews below. The story is boring and the lead is not smart in ways that don't make sense with the plot. I just don't care for the story.
Beautiful art but the story is so boring. I had to drop it.
It falls flat ngl...the plot is so uneventful, and the few meaningful events are not compelling enough, or at least it doesn't feel impactful at all.
30 chapters in, and I don't understand why they're acting like their problems are not already solved, basically.
