Lol she's not being strung along she knows full well and doesn't want to accept nor face the fact that after the emotional abuse her husband suffered for years, he no longer loves her. At this point she's clinging to her marriage that's likely over cause she realized what she had done to him and how he likely feels now. She's trying now for a few weeks or month to save the marriage while he had been trying for years. This notion that she didn't cheat so she deserves happiness is kind of funny to me. If a partner was physically abused but didn't cheat do they deserve happiness for not cheating? Is it only when it's emotional abuse? I don't expect us to agree because we clearly see things differently judging from past interactions but I really don't get why she's getting a free pass. Just cause she didn't physical touch another person doesn't mean she didn't cause the same amount or more pain to her husband.
