    It took a really really long time, MC really have the mindset of "don't do anything to the protagonist cirlcle" to the upmost, so don't expect anything good to happen to the good guys for a longest time. Secondly, he's will always be a fatass (excluding for 2 chapters then he goes back to becoming a fatass) then for now too (chapter 60ish), so don't really expect a huge change of the MC either. Eitherway it's a long game, and personally I don't think it's that satisfactory either.
