That's completely fine. I personally love this series because it's not a power fantasy. The MC has his fair share of failures alongside his many successes with each one developing his character in many ways. In my opinion, you should take the time to read the LN—I HIGHLY recommend it. It is perhaps the only isekai I would rate a 10/10.
