Just a background check for those who don't know, the main female lead sasha is from the author's previous works, and by previous works, I mean his doujins. . The sasha in that version has done it all with all kinds of men, and it's pretty hardcore too for a girl her age. .
The author has stated that this sasha is an alternate version and is different. . At first I believed that, but all of that comes crumbling down when you get to volume 3. .
Volume 3 pretty much tells you flat out that this supposedly wholesome sasha is actually not a virgin. She tells it straight to the MC and that she is sex friends with her senpai. . I honestly just stopped reading right there. . I was promised a wholesome series with a different not sluty sasha, but it seems author is just too stuck up with his roots. .
The tweets you posted also mention that one oc the intentions of this manga is to show Sasha in a wholesome relationship in spite of her impure background. The fact that Shu loves her and cares for her despite her not being a virgin and how he sees her beyond a sexual outlet is a key aspect of their relationship.
However I must wonder what were people expecting considering the origin of Sasha.
Not only did this author decide to reuse "Sasha", a character he constantly uses in his hentai manga (Ugly Bastard, GangBang etc..) He even has drawn an NTR version featuring the main character of this series getting cuckolded.
Not only that, but even in this "Vanilla" version he decided to also make it canon that Sasha isn't a virgin. This is just messed up and completely spoils any attempt at this series being wholesome or worth reading.
Proof directly from the author's mouth of her being a "non-virgin" in this "wholesome vanilla" version of the series despite still being a child.
