I mean, I wouldn't mind a manga that showed the MC getting stronger and showing off his personality... except most mangas either pad that with meaningless filler or the MC's whole personality is the same two-bit notes we've always seen in manga. Cold killers, OP idiots, people who don't really HAVE a character and the story is carried by the 'action' predominantly.

tbh, I think there are a lot of good mangas out there, but stories like this - which are essentially another shade of OP!MC power fantasies - you won't find what you're looking for in terms of coherent stories without padding that tell and resolve arcs and development without taking an obscene amount of time. you've really gotta search for them. Personally, I'd recommend Marriagetoxin/Marriage Toxin to you. A vaguely lighthearted comedic read with plenty of action, stakes, and interesting characters without any padding to drag it out. Art's pretty solid too!
