Maeda is a new student at Teiken High School. He stutters when nervous and is quite clumsy. He immediately catches attention by accidentally hitting a teacher during the entrance ceremony. Several clubs seek to recruit him, seeing in him a powerful ally to gain leverage over rival clubs. However, Maeda prefers solitude and has a singular dream: becoming a boxing champion. His primary goal is to defeat the leader of the boxing club.
