I would be lying if i said that i found this part of Kaiji to be as enjoyable as the previous ones. Because of the fact that i, like many others, had no knowledge of mahjong before i started reading, it became quite a slog to read through many segments of the story. Then again, i would also be lying if i said that i didn't enjoy the usual twists, betrayals and OH SO sweet ending, that were just as satisfying as the previous moments of relief. So yeah, i'm glad i read through part 3 of Kaiji, and if you're struggling to read through this at any point, then i implore you to perserve like i did so you can have this under the belt and can move on to the next part.
