The technology is so sentinent they can run themselves. And why go to school when everyone can have robot teachers that can teach them language. The social aspect is valid in ur argument but you dont neccesarily need to go to school for that

The reasons why Made In Abyss is terrible are:

- The Idofront arc was a step down in terms of exploration, and the tone change from melodramatic adventure to an action oriented arc wasn't great
- Multiple comments on the pedophiliac elements in the manga that, I am pretty sure every person who has been in this community for a day has certainly ran into
- The exciting, mysterious, imagination provoking abyss, while it is what really carries the story, gives the author too much freedom so sometimes important events seem meaningless.
- There was generally less emphasis on the exploration of the Abyss in the most recent arcs
- This manga can be tedious at times because of the incredibly slow pacing
- There's a lack of interesting and compelling characters in the earlier parts
- Faputa is basically Nanachi clone made due to her popularity
- The most of the main characters have plot armor
