MC's ability is boring in the first place. Stealing other people's ability has long outlived its welcome in Shounen manga.

There wouldn't be jobs? Of course there would. People didn't just learn trades and skills for the sake of having trades and skills, Helghast. It was to earn money, reputation or resources... That's what a job has always been.

The concept of employed workers goes back pretty far in human history. Even the Bible mentions hiring people and paying them as well as people who made their livings doing specific things like selling purple clothes (Purple was considered a high-end color meant for the wealthy or rich).

It also mentions (and condemns) people who defraud their workers by holding back their payments.  Heck, they even had Tax Collectors in ROME. Jobs have been around for a pretty long time.

This Manga sucks ass.
