This one falls into the same genre like Helck of a seemmingly very silly and cute fantasy comedy story that is actually complicated and quite serious. At first you get a relatively simple story with funny charcters and pretty good action with some weird bits thrown in rarely enough you just ignore them, assuming they are just some extra bits the author added for fun, but as you go along the different random bits start to make a picture.
The story telling for this becomes less and less linear with time as multiple storylines start intersecting along different time points as you learn more and more on what is going on in the world. It is fun, but if that doesn't sound fun to you, half of the charcters including the MC are also mostly clueless and you can just go along for the ride together with them, it is still an enjoyable read even if you don't follow most of the story that is truly quite complicated. I'm guessing rereading this is very rewarding.
It is good, read it.
