I am at chapter 9 and i quit it. Too boring and there is nothing that pulls me in to read it. It's basically a story of people live in a retirement home.

Description for the manga is more  interesting then the manga it's self

It's funny that Pondy22 mentioned Goku.
Mashle is clearly inspired by shonen tropes, but especially Dragonball and Dragonball Z.
Mash and Goku start out in fantastical worlds, both devoid of common knowledge, but through their pure hearts, dedication for their friends and fighting ability they save the day multiple times.
That's when both of their character arcs end. Both stop to develop from that point on and then we transition into Mashle Z.
Everything boils down to having more power. Technique becomes irrelevant. Mash even got almost killed, spend time in a hyperbolic time chamber (training with god) to defeat world destroying evil people who are related to him.

These descriptions could fit a lot of different stories, but for me Mash is just a way stupider (not derogatory) Goku.

The Drama plot is overused, but it's wholesome. And the time when some readers panicking about NTR was entertaining.
