Okay, after reading this manga in two days i shall give my 2 cents.

Yo: A very flawed individual that lacks initiative and that was doomed due to masturbation in such young age. He went throught a lot and i kinda hated him at some points, but i can understand his pain and confusion.

Kei: The one that basicaly has set up everything. He was always too extroverted at the same time that he kept hiding his true feelings. Taughting Yo about masturbation so early in his life basicaly doomed him. I gotta also say that in the initial chapters his behavior was down horrenduos and out of touch. Later he became my favorite character in the series tho.

Mitani: oh, the classic creep Yandere. Mikasa, that girl from deviant love, Yuno gasai, etc. I'm tired of those creeps that make my blood boil. Tho i gotta say i kinda feel her a bit, but by far my least favorite character.

To the brimhats, it must be like the cures to hunger, disease, and all the the world's problems are being purposely held from those suffering from such things the most. Pointed hats control everything with the power they conveniently 'burdened' themselves with, and protesting from within their system means a memory wipe. So how do you fight a power that rules the world? You strike anywhere, any way, and with whatever tools you can.
It's a devil's advocate perspective, but it's not 100% wrong either. I mean, who benefits most from the current system? Who suffers most?Quiffrey and his students are great, and the brimhats we've met so far have done some bad shit, but does that mean good and evil? I bet (and kinda hope) we'll eventually meet quite agreeable brimhats, and I'm VERY interested to see how Coco will react if/when she meets one who genuinely wants to make the world a better place.

Whoa, it's the witch of status quo, here to make sure that the relationship doesn't progress.
