Nana to Kaoru

Well, this work proves how mangakas can deal with OLD taboo subjects like S&M in a such funny and exciting way without using the classic hentai and porn cliches, you can see the "thin" line that the autor put on this work and how that creates a lot of tension between the two main characters, I mean i recommended this manga to some friends who are not even into the manga stuff and they loved it. Amazume artwork just suits the story (tbh he didnt change his style for this particular work). And like many others around here i prefer plump girls 😀

A very enjoyable series, original is almost everything! The main protagonists developing relationship is very interesting to watch, and it's actually based in S&M. I find it amazing how this manga, at least for me, is much more alluring and enticing than real porn. The ecchi it contains is not "Sexual Ecchi", is "Sensual Ecchi". It's also very interesting how the series dismitifies any remaining prejudice against S&M you may have, so much, that it might actually make you get curious about it (that's what happened with me! xD)... wow, now THAT'S an accomplishment!

At first it was pretty interesting (and funny how she accidentaly locks herself in the outfit XD) but i skimed through the 30some chapters that were on a manga site, and i really didnt see much of a storyline, just the girl taking "breathers" and wearing SM getups, and the guy being overjoyed at times.. . . . i read about 4 or 5 chapters, then started the skimming, and it was basically the same thing, and at parts, she looked a bit cross eyed, but i liked that she wasnt stick thin like some manga girls, she was plump but not in a chubby orr fat way. . . but everyone seems to be giving it a 10, so i might give it another chance, but for now -- 3.5/10

I was kinda surprised that the manga was actually based on true SM actions and concepts where master is no a dominant asshole that break the mid of a weak girl, if no a guy that care and exploit the sexual attributes of the female body, a lot of SM authors can learn from this but .... they are lame like rapers only wanna see helpless girls get gangbanged and without own will. The love history is good, the details are great but no too tecnical, gives to pleaple really interest on learn more about true SM.

In my opinion, a sleazy weakling like him, who is 100% opposite of the prince charming type, dominating and making a girl like Nana do anything he says, is what makes this manga interesting and enjoyable. Definately a 10

I am amazed how this series can take a sexual topic, keep the emphasis on the characters, and provide fanservice without getting vulgar. I know everyone has a different definition of vulgar, but this really rides that line between ecchi and vulgar without getting into 'sex'. Perhaps it's just me, but I can empathize with the confusion of the characters as they explore themselves.

Artwork is decent to good. Story is ok, with a couple flashing of brilliance. Characters are more complete than most works near this topic. I don't see the 10's that everyone is giving, but it's definitely a superior manga.

This manga masterfully creates sexual tension without any real sex, nudity or even a kiss.

After 36 chapters it absolutely deserves a 10.

Especially since Tachi appeared. And in the recent chapters there seems to be a rivalry evolving between her and Nana.

I'm really curious which way will the story go. 😀

Hot, Sexy, Perverted... I didn't think that a manga could be so enticing. I've read ALOT of H-manga and
have watched ALOT of porn. None have been as alluring and sensuous as Nana to Kaoru. The faces that Nana makes are so debauched that you can ejaculate by just looking at them, and Then Tachi comes along with the raunchiest look ever. I swear, I almost jizzed in my pants. This is a must read.

Too many tens, seriously guys, what's going on? Most of it is typical, what isn't typical showcases the worst of certain tendencies in this genre, and the hentai that usually comes from it. The guy looks extra pathetic, he isn't likeable one bit. The girl likes to be dominated secretly, and they like each other because they knew each other when they were young(cause that's how it works).

I don't like S&M but I'm not knocking it either. This is still meh, but with the added knowledge that it didn't start in a good relationship, with the disturbing hentai mind set.

the part people like most about this isn't the whole perverted things. yes it does add something good to keep the attention, but its the romance between the two that mostly keeps us interested. It certainly isn't your typical topic and from the accuracy of information to the beautiful artwork a lot of work was put into this and for me its my top manga

i really like this manga (thought i´m not into sm). It´s one of those you must have but no one should know you have it. I call it Nan but none of my manga reading friends semm to know waht i mean^^" i highly recommend it

You know... I wouldn't exactly say that it's the sweetest or greatest Romance in the world, but it certainly is very interesting. When I started it, there were only 3 chapters, and I was hooked enough to want to know more. I found out they weren't going to translate it anymore, and I refused to accept that. NtK has a special place in my heart because I was the one that pushed it out there to be picked back up again. I really do love this series. Each chapter keeps me wanting more. The only thing I really hate about this series is... I have to wait a month at least for a new chapter. I get excited when I see a new one released.
The characters are a little more real world than in other romances. You have two kids that have been friends, but nothing more. They suffer too great a difference in looks and ability. Regardless of that, each of their seasons chips a little more of that wall away, and even makes the normally lazy Kaoru some motivation to self improve.
Ok... maybe it's not THAT realistic... but that's because most of us are lazy. Pft... self improvement... that stuff is for losers 😛
