Actually kinda trash. The ML is braindead on how to actually treat a person let alone a girl yet for some reason whenever the fl tries to flee they always paralyze her. Like that's the worst thing that they can do and the fl isn't any better either. She found out she can absorb power from crystals to make her self stronger so instead of capitalizing on this cheat she flees the because someone tries marrying her like she could have bided her time until she's strong enough to flee but she instantly fled causing her to constantly suffer. Yet the ml thinks the fl is just going to fly into his arms and magically return his very bad and misguided attempts at affection. Also semi shoddy translations but that hardly matters with the other glaring issues with this

You know you're in for a ride when a significant plot point in the early chapters hinges on the author forgetting that freshwater fish exists and would've been a staple food within that cultural context.

This is one of the few series where I'm tempted to look up the WN to continue from here out of impatience. I'm just waiting for her lies to catch up with her. Even though she has good reason to lie to everyone. Isn't lying to the king is technically lese majeste.
