    I can see it being popular with the japanese readers, most people in japan consider the highschool years to be the best years of their lives and after highschool they lose the personality and join the work force. Horikoshi knows that his reader base has grown up by the time his manga ended, so he made it honorable for Izuku to become a teacher and spread his experience with the next generation.
