I don't know what the comments are talking about, the mc trying to keep an act and the princess being oblivious to it is pretty cool and funny concept to me. Its like the reverse version of "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute" instead of being a chuunibyou mc, he is just trying to fit in to the scenario he was placed in.

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but the prince's arc and all the mind games and strategy within it is the most fascinating arc I've read in hunter x hunter so far. I love it so much that i actually found myself losing interest when we went back to what the spiders were doing briefly before... I can't wait to see more of this <3 Mostly, I just hope Togashi can feel better soon!!!

You and I may not think it has anything worth turning your brain off for, but some people do, so it has to have SOMETHING going for it.

Wish fulfilment, pretty males, a very cute set of animals (that pig is adorable and I'll fight anyone who disagrees), or I guess getting a magic "no fat anymore" button, there's something here for them. If they can find it, they can likely look past the bad.
Not sure I can, but I wanted to give some thoughts for anyone who wants them.

Cute but also deeply disturbing? I feel like I am being gaslighted into thinking the prince is romantic. What concerns me is this was cute enough to be fine with that... but he straight up assaulted her... but everything is so cute...

Seriously, change up the art style and the reaction shots and this would be a horror story. Still... I like it (especially since it is not told as a horror story but a love story where she does like him but the institutional requirements of being his fiancée have been traumatic for her). Gaslighting successful.

I can buy that hes clues about his own strength since hes been with his asshole party members from the beginning. hes never fought anything directly and his buffs make his party look like gods so he probably thought they were doing all the work this whole time. I just hope he doesnt stay that way because it can get annoying real quick
