    It is interesting, though I worry that Yuder's character has been written to be a little too perfect. Cordelia is immature, rash, impatient, and dishonest with herself about her feelings and therefore has a clear emotional arc to progress along. Yuder, however, is shown as eminently capable (memorizing complex formulae, layouts, and the minutia of the source game; conveniently is a master in forgery; and could seemingly talk his way out of prison), is gifted amazing bonuses, and has betrayed no weaknesses (aside from a mundane ailment that is rooted in the character he embodies rather than something that truly informs his sense of self).

    I assume at some point he will have a breakdown hinging on how the game had subsumed his entire life and as the world accelerates in diverging from the narrative that they both are familiar with his confidence will slip... but that seems fairly weak and the insecurities that presupposes do not seem to have been telegraphed.

    To be fair, the manga has brought to attention that many years did pass, and while we don't see much change in the young adults (which often times change in subtle ways unless their lifestyle changes), the one child, Suika, did get to grow up into her young adult form herself after everyone was petrified for over a decade, meaning there aren't really many characters left to noticeably grow old. A lot of people change very little from age 20 to age 30, so even taking into account that the prepping may take over a decade (which should be noted is shorter than the real life counterpart because in this world getting to the moon is the MAIN thing the ENTIRE human civilization is trying to accomplish, where as irl its like less than 2% of the world's resources) most of them wouldnt change that much.
