Well unlike hachiman the reason he hates everyone else is simply because he is jealous and in order to solve that he makes superficial relationships and "helps" everyone else by making them keep their superficial relationships.

that whole bit in the first chapter were the mc is like "why can't i get people to take pride in what we dark knights do" over people distancing themselves from him being covered in blood and guts... why do authors hate common sense so much

also they forget which relics they have most of the time, like sure the mc gets tired using a lot of them at once but he uses things like the army of the undead instead of a ton of other options that are easily army level by themselves like Nero or insanely strong single target stuff like Gungnir
